A local business owner closes the door on one location with plans to expand in two more.
The owner of Roman’s Market, Tony Boparai says he’s closed the small food market at 2006 Center Avenue in Janesville that he opened last spring, as it wasn’t profitable.
Boparai says he’s looking at purchasing the lot next to Roman’s Fuels and expanding the gas station within the next few years to include a food market similar in size or bigger than the one he’s opening at 220 Liberty Avenue in Beloit.
The Roman’s Supermarket in Beloit is expected to be open in about two weeks.
