Coldwell Banker Commercial McGuire Mears & Associates announces the purchase of the commercial real estate brokerage business by new ownership. The office is located at 400 Midland Court, Suite 101, in Janesville.
Principal and past Managing Broker William Mears and partners Terry McGuire and Tom Lasse have sold Coldwell Banker Commercial McGuire Mears & Associates to new Managing Broker Adam Shultz. Shultz will hold majority ownership along with three minority partners.
After seeing a glaring need for a strong commercial real estate firm in Rock County, Mears, McGuire, and Lasse started Coldwell Banker Commercial McGuire Mears & Associates in 2002.
Shultz is from Milton, WI, and has a BA in Economics and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined Coldwell Banker Commercial McGuire Mears & Associates in 2019 and holds real estate licenses in both Wisconsin and Illinois. Moving forward, Shultz and Mears will continue to work as a real estate team.
