JANESVILLE
The Sugar Exchange in downtown Janesville is looking for a buyer, owner Courtney Perakis revealed Tuesday.
“After much consideration my husband and I have decided to sell The Sugar Exchange,” Perakis wrote in a social media post.
There were no plans announced to close the business before a buyer was found.
Perakis said it was not an easy decision to make and not one they came to lightly or quickly.
“We are so thankful for everyone in the community who ever supported our business and we really hope there is someone out there who would like to pick up the mantle and keep this little sweet shop in the community,’ Perakis said.
Perakis said anyone interested in purchasing the business should reach out to her for more information.
