The old Fazoli’s restaurant on Humes Road in Janesville looks like it’ll turn into a new chicken joint.
Layne’s Chicken Fingers Franchise Owner Lucas Bergeson says they plan on keeping the building because it has good bones, and they’re going to start construction in the next week or two and are targeting a spring opening.
Bergeson says despite there being a number of chicken chains in the vicinity, they weren’t scared off because there’s an appetite for fried chicken and they bring something different.
This would be one of Layne’s first Wisconsin based restaurants.
